Day to Night smoky eye
London fashion week has just been and I have been checking out
the latest images too see the most popular eye look. The smoky eye never lets
us down for an occasion so here is the on trend look for you to rock!
I decided to do a more wearable version of this eye look as it can be for day and night here is a step by step guide to get a catwalk perfect smoky eye.
1. Apply a concealer a few shades lighter than your natural skin tone under the eye and along the brow bone do not blend in as it will collect fallen shadow. ( I have used Rimmel hide the blemish in ivory)
2. Apply an eye primer on the eyelid this will secure your eye makeup and it will last longer. ( I have used urban decay eye shadow primer potion)
3.Use any eye shadow pallet preferably with similar colours I have used bronze, brown, cream, gold and dark brown apply the lightest colour along the lid I have used a light cream then use a bronze shimmer again on the lid then take the brown and apply it in the outer corner of the eye in the crease and blend. Then with a darker brown or black apply just to the outer corner and blend in and up towards the brown bone. Add a gold shimmer in the inner and middle of lid for a more natural finish, to finish it off add a matte white in the inner corner of the eye to brighten and open the eye. blend the concealer and add the same matte white on to the brow bone.
3. Add some top eyeliner and bottom and layer the mascara and you have a perfect smoky eye
The finished look
